Data deletion instructions
You can disconnect Nextware from any account and have the data we hold about you permanently deleted. This is always free of charge and takes no more than 30 days.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
Fastest route: email info@nextwaretech.co with the subject “Data deletion request” and tell us which account or platform to remove. We confirm in writing once deletion is complete.
Step 1: Revoke our access
Revoking access stops any further data being read or published immediately. Choose the platform you connected:
Google (Search Console, Analytics, Business Profile)
- Go to your Google Account permissions page.
- Find Nextware Technologies in the list of third-party apps.
- Select it and choose Remove access.
- Go to Settings and privacy, Settings, Business Integrations.
- Find Nextware Technologies, then choose Remove.
- Tick the option to delete posts and activity the app created, if you also want that content removed from your Page.
- Open Instagram, go to Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites.
- Find Nextware Technologies and select Remove.
- Instagram business accounts connected through a Facebook Page are also removed by the Facebook step above.
Step 2: Request deletion of stored data
Revoking access stops future access but does not by itself erase what we already hold. To have it deleted, email info@nextwaretech.co and include:
- the email address or account you used to connect;
- the website, Page, Instagram account or Business Profile involved;
- whether you want everything deleted, or only a specific platform disconnected.
We will verify that the request comes from someone entitled to make it, then confirm deletion in writing.
What gets deleted
| Item | When it is deleted |
|---|---|
| OAuth access and refresh tokens | Immediately on disconnection or request |
| Google user data (Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile data we cached) | Within 30 days |
| Meta data (Page and Instagram content, metrics and identifiers we stored) | Within 30 days |
| Contact form submissions and correspondence | Within 30 days of request |
| Copies held in encrypted backups | Purged within 90 days on the normal backup rotation |
When we cannot delete everything
We will always delete what we lawfully can. In a small number of cases we must keep limited records, and we will tell you if this applies to you:
- Financial and tax records. Invoices and payment records must be retained to meet accounting and tax law, typically for 6 to 7 years. These contain billing details, not your platform data.
- Legal claims and disputes. Where data is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, we retain the minimum necessary until the matter is resolved.
- Security and abuse records. Limited logs may be retained where required to investigate fraud, abuse or a security incident.
- Content already published. Posts published to your own Page, Instagram account or Business Profile belong to you and live on those platforms. We can delete them on your instruction, but you can also remove them yourself at any time.
Anything retained under these exceptions is kept only for as long as the obligation lasts, is access restricted, and is then deleted.
No fees, and how long it takes
We never charge for deleting your data. We acknowledge requests within 5 working days and complete them within 30 days. If a request is unusually complex we will tell you and explain the delay.
